Bryan is a 30 year old gay man, immigrant and veteran. He served in the Navy during the "Don't ask Don't tell" days. Much of our conversation was about not feeling accepted, both in family and work and how to overcome feeling rejected.
Today's guest is a 30 year old immigrant and veteran. Bryan hails from a Roman Catholic family and moved to the United States. He went and joined the Navy after high school and navigated his time in service during the "Don't ask Don't Tell" days. Bryan grew up being told homosexuality was wrong and hearing negative remarks from his family members solidified his internal turmoil. Much of our conversation revolves around not feeling accepted and how we can learn to open up and accept ourselves.
