Today's guest is Cam Bernard. Cam is a mixed race young gay man. Cam talks about his coming of age journey as a mixed race gay man in a small country town. Our conversation revolved around staying positive through criticism, learning to own your identity, and finding groups of people to connect with.
In this episode, my guest Cam Bernard highlights what it's like growing up in a small country town as a queer mixed race person. Cam is a fantastic and positive person, really lighting up the room with his personality. He gives specific examples of discrimination he has faced as well as tips on how to remain positive through adversity. I had a wonderful time speaking to Cameron and think you all will find a lot of value in this episode.
